My thanks to the state library for this. By 1968, Butler Community College was 41 years old. We weren't the first, but we executed the concept beautifully over the years.

Available at the KGI Online Library... a 1968 publication celebrating the 50th anniversary of community/junior colleges in Kansas.

View the most recent Blog and take a look at the history, photos, statistics, etc on community/junior colleges in Kansas as viewed 50 years ago in 1968.
