Butler County Community College in Pennsylvania closes for COVID-19 - but not us!

From our President.

By the way, you can tell it's a different college because they still use the word "County" in their name and branding. I finally stopped getting mail addressed to them when Butler made the switch to simply Butler Community College around 12 years ago.

Hi,
Please be aware that Butler Community College in Pennsylvania has announced its closing this afternoon. Our Butler CC is not. If you have questions from students, see things on social media, receive emails from students or family members, make sure they know the difference. Our classes are still in session and offices and campuses still open.

We’re in constant conversation with many of our partner institutions for sharing information and formulating plans to implement necessary measures if our regular working and class schedules are required to change. Our Critical Incident Management Team is meeting again on Friday. We’ll follow up with any updates.

To my awareness, there are no KS colleges to date that are shutting their doors and telling students and staff to stay home.
Thanks…
Kim

It gets personal as I think about Spring Break or vacation travel. Will we get to go to Hawaii or not?!

Warm welcome from Hamil at the Andover 5000 Library. Lots of changes coming to the library this year: location, services, space. But you are always going to be happy with our people here.

Of Course We Closed

Funny to read that last post and realize within a week we were in the process of closing, too. By March 13, Dr. Krull had it under consider...
