eBooks: Six options for libraries

Chris Rippel, Central Kansas Library System (crippel@ckls.org) has created a well-thought out document comparing the pros and cons of eBook use by libraries in his post eBooks in public libraries. While his focus is on public libraries, I find his organization and arguments useful for considering in the academic library, too.

I heard Chris review eBook devices back in 1995 at a Kansas Library conference. His long and careful thinking about eBooks has given me new clarity and ideas. Thank you, Martha, for the link!
